spinal injury is giving everyone who comes in contact with her a lesson in hope. the little girl lost her ability to walk while doing a backbend in her family home just ahead of christmas... but as mary beth mcdade reports, the little dancer is determined to twirl again. kylee hoelscher/mother "she loves to dance and that's the thing her dad misses most." kylee hoelscher's five-year-old daughter's life was changed forever after, simply, doing a backbend. it was two days before christmas when her daughter, eden, started crying of back-pain. mother, kylee hoelscher "so i picked her up and i'm like, 'oh, you're fine, you're fine.' and she said, 'no, mom. my back, my legs and my hips hurt.' so i was like, 'okay.' so i picked her up and i brought her in this room, actually. and i was rocking her in the rocking chair, trying to calm her down." kylee, eden, and her older sister attempted to go christmas shopping. mother, kylee hoelscher "she's just crying, so, you know, we couldn't even go anywhere. we just turned right back around and came back in the house." kylee tried to comfort her daughter, as she continued to cry in

hoelscher "she just, she does what she has to do and she's just so strong." she's now back home on the palos verdes peninsula, where she continues therapy and is happy to be home with her big sister. every day is a real mother, kylee hoelscher "her body, like her bowels and her bladder don't work. she can't regulate her own temperature. you know, we have to get up and move her in the middle of the night, so she doesn't get pressure sores from laying. because there's no real treatment for eden in la, her parents are bringing her to specialists around the country, so their little girl can walk again and achieve her dreams. now what do you want to do when you grow up? eden hoelscher/paralyzed from backbend "be a ballerina." that was cnn's mary beth mcdade reporting. the family is currently getting eden specialized treatment in baltimore and louisville still to come

after big primary wins yesterday, but, there's still not much clarity on the republican side. donald trump had some big victories too, but, not here in ohio. fox news
10:48 am
doug luzader has the story from washington. on cam intro well, these were the states in play yesterday. and for democrats, good night for hillary clinton, who picked up at least four states. the jury is still out in missouri, but, she may wind up running the table on bernie sanders. for republicans, it's a much more complicated picture. donald trump did pick up florida, north carolina and illinois, but, he was blocked in ohio. ohio governor john kasich breathing a big sigh of relief, and for good reason. he delivered his winner-take-all home state and brushed back donald trump. kasich says "..we will beat hillary clinton and i will become the president of the united states." big talk, but, this is kasich's first and only win, so far. still, it makes it much more difficult for trump to win the nomination outright, making a contested convention this summer even more likely. still, trump appearing in florida last night, could claims some big wins, especially in that state. trump says "..to win by that kind of a number is incredible." the casualty?
10:49 am
despite pledging to keep running no matter what, he suspended his campaign after a trump-trouncing in his home state. rubio says "..the fact that i've even come this far is evidence of how special america truly is." delegate-wise, ted cruz remains in second place -- and, he is hoping now for effectively a two-man race with trump. hillary clinton went a long way to locking down democratic nomination -- and, made a confident pivot attacking republicans. clinton says "..our commander-in-chief has to to be able to defend our country, not embarrass it." but, bernie sanders -- a persistent thorn in clinton's side -- says not to count him out. he's already looking ahead to arizona next week. sanders says "..we will win if the voter turnout is high. let's make it high, thank you all very much!" on cam tag and, bernie sanders, in particular, looking for high-turnout from young voters who continue to support him in big numbers, and that
