michael: not exactly a habit of campaigning, since april of last year, mrs. clinton and mr. sanders have made fewer than 30 visits to south carolina, only six visits to the upstate. in comparison, gop candidates have visited the upstate nearly 70 times. >> i do not know if you have looked around your neighborhood, but there are whole lot of democrats -- there are not a whole lot of democrats in the upstate. we have a few pockets of them. there are few. michael: and they have no scheduled trips north of columbia before the primary. carol: and fresh off a win in nevada today, donald trump was back on the campaign trail visiting the region university in virginia beach. he is getting some support from congress.

endorsement from sitting congress members, with duncan hunter of california and chris collins of new york who say they are backing donald trump. michael: the texas governor. two men had a rally in houston today, and they were in support of the two most powerful people, including abbott and lieutenant governor dan patrick. and today found john kasich back on the stump in the south. he skipped campaigning after the votes of the nevada caucus and is focused on the super tuesday date. carol: and as for ben carson, he had no scheduled events today according to his website. his campaign will host caucus training sessions saturday and sunday.

with the campaign chairman, retired major general bob dees. michael coleman and a final debate before super tuesday, kicking off tomorrow night, and cnn will air it live from texas and the university of houston. carol: resident obama is considering a republican to replace the late justice antonin scalia. he is being affected by the white house, sandoval, a former federal judge, considered a moderate republican in his home state. republicans said they were be no hearing on a nominee by the president. as you may recall, justice scalia died 11 days ago. he was 76. michael: senator lindsey graham is speaking out against president barack obama's plan to close the prison at guantanamo bay, cuba. lindsey graham joins fellow

some blowing snow across the area. it will continue. and maybe a dusting of up to maybe an inch in the georgia mountains. this is until 10:00 tomorrow morning, so winter is hanging around for quite a bit. you can see the cold air coming in. a squall line developing, heading out to sea. and there is a storm system, so you can see these bands of showers coming through, and this is the line. this touched in around here, and this is just northeast of brighton. these are racing off to the northeast, anywhere from 50 to 70 miles per hour. that shows you how strong that jetstream was, and we are lucky that it shifted off to the east. this goes all of the way into new jersey and even new york city.

these storms have weakened, and it is probably not tornadoes, but we could see some damaging winds in the big apple tonight. up to an inch of rain during the day today, an inch and a half in anderson, and we talked about the peak wind gusts. 43 miles per hour in downtown greenville. 41 mile-per-hour wind gusts in asheville. and on top of the peace center in downtown greenville, we are talking about partly cloudy skies, and it is cold across the area. look at these temperatures. 42 in toccoa. greenville, 43. spartanburg, lawrence, and cold temperatures. these are sustained winds. 22 miles per hour. this gives us a wind chill of 33, a wind chill of 32 in spartanburg, and the wind goes

least. 42 in atlanta. here comes the cold air. it has not quite reached the beaches. 38 degrees in little rock, arkansas, and 35 degrees in cincinnati. the back of the system, look how big this is. the back edge of the snow, right about here, the central port of illinois. and this is anywhere from two to six inches of snow. and now it has tapered off and has shifted off to the east, and you can see traffic has slowed down quite a bit in central illinois. still, this is quite the storm, and this is beginning to move up into michigan and canada. 19 right now at international falls, minnesota. as we go through the night tonight, this will continue

i think that if one were to look at the qualifications of the candidates and really reflect upon what our country can be, and look at who can best get us to that place. i think it's hands down hillary clinton. hillary is the only candidate i trust to fight the injustice too many feel and build on the president's progress, not rip it away. my heart has always been with hillary clinton.
