This is a very nice capture of the show. The Wharf Rat was special. When they teased Playin in the Band the second time I thought they might do the full version. The roof would have come off the Cap-maybe they will do it someday. Love all the GD covers. This band consistently plays great shows and the level of musicianship is very high. They respect and are appreciative of their audience much like the good old GD and it's nice to see.

Have to agree with deadtoolong the crowd reaction after Wharf Rat was priceless. As a musician that must be a special moment when your music elicits a response like that from an audience. Wonderful show all around, these guys all play great. Once again great recording Keith.

What a great night of music by Billy and his band - all the recordings from this night sound good - take your pic.

Very special moment of appreciation from the crowd after Wharf Rat - I like that Billy seems to play one or two Grateful Dead tunes each night, Wharf Rat would not have been my choice for tonight, but the band brings it and Billy sings it with heart and soul. I wonder if Billy was aware of the history of this song and the fact that it was first played at the Capital Theater in 1971 (?) or if it was jus coincidence. The crowd reaction at the end is special - brought the house down with cheers so loud you would have thought the show was over (it was only the second song of the second set). Took the band by surprise - just wow, just special.
