bob myers, volunteer: "you get a good enjoyment personally, but there is a need. we see it in our home town, we see it all around." volunteers at hope ministries woke up early thursday to prepare and box hundreds of meals. tracy myers, volunteer: "they are so thankful, not only for the warm food, but the company, that people get dressed up and they come in. it's not your typical soup kitchen, it's more than that." bob myers, volunteer: "it's kind of a fulfilling, satisfaction when you go out and help people, and they're going up to you and you're kind of making their day, and they don't realize how much they're actually making your day." gabel knows it's because of genuine love that he's back on his feet. terry gable, intake coordinator: "a good, good hot meal, some encouragement and some encouraging words, that kind of thing can really change a person's perspective and outlook on life." jacob the volunteers at hope ministries delivered more than 2-thousand meals across the metro today. they also prepared dinner for more than four hundred. live in the studio, jaco
