the midwest here now, still very warm in chicago and st. louis. but this is going to take the eastern half of the country in chunks over the next few days and by the end of the week we're going to feel the cooler air as well. it's also going to help sweep maria out to sea. today we got to 91. the normal just 75. we were one degree shy of that record of 92 setback in 1970. as that front sweeps in it's going to usher in some cool, canadian air later this week, and that jet stream, the strong winds behind the front are going to carry maria further out to see. time thg out, as you can see we head into tomorrow, a few clouds but a mostly sunny afternoon. heads to the north, looks pretty ominous but here's our saving grace. that front starts to come through. got a couple of showers with it and watch what happens. it picks up maria and steers it right out to sea clearing us out on thursday. the humidity drops on thursday and the temperature really drops by friday. maria weakening to a tropical storm, take that sharp right turn. that thing is out of here quickly steered by the front.
