i grew up in san francisco and i currently live in san francisco and tuolumne county. i came out of the mountains this morning to come to the meeting because the tuolumne, i love it. and i spend countless hours fishing it. i was up at spillway lake at 10,000 feet. it's pristine. it was amazing to see a source of water that flows into the tuolumne out of the park. there were lots of wild fish in the lake and in parker creek and in the dana fork of the tuolumne. that's not the case once you get out you the park, though. most people agree that the native fish populations are in serious decline of the argument is over how we can effectively address the crisis. they've pushed out the tuolumne river plan that focuses on nonflow measures. in the absence of adequate flows, the projects are destined to fail, as they have in the past. in 1995, the districts entered into a settlement agreement to improve the salmon fishery with agencies and groups. similar to the tuolumne management plan, the agreement focused on habitat restoration. despite the effort of the districts and others

i'm the director of san francisco seiu 10:1. we're here to talk to you about short staffing in the jails primarily at c.j.-2, but not just at c.j.-2. we have seven r.n. examine l.p.n. vacancies that have yet to be filled, leaving folks experiencing mandated over time. manning staff are being mandated over time. employee staff are work with no breaks, heavy workload, facing increased risk of med hours and near misses as a result which put both the patients and staff's licenses at risk. we've had an increase in the jail population at jailhouse two with no additional increase in staffing. and i'll just give you a synopsis of the history at c.j.-2, that historically on the day shift, we used to have six l.v.n.'s and two r.n.'s. now we only have four l.v.n.'s and two r.n.'s, leaving us short. we are having six l.v.n.'s be assigned at least on the day shift on the swing shift, previously historically, we had four l.v.n.'s assigned and three r.n.'s. we are requesting at least five l.v.n.'s to staff that shift. on the night shift we are

i cannot remember what san francisco was. today will be warmer but not that much warmer. 70s yesterday that is unseasonably cool to near average for today and into the week a little above. so a little fog. the coast and the bay will not change much. you'll look at 60s and 70s. it will be cool this morning about at a three to 11 degrees warmer. this is a response moving through. and it will allow the thigh start building in it might a little optimistic on the temperatures today. inland, coast and bay looks like a lot of 60s and 70s. 7:01 on a friday morning. >>> we have some earlier trouble this morning on southbound 680. it is improving. all the lanes are open. but still a little slow. a good day like today when the accidents clear, the backup clears up quickly because it is lighter than usual. we've been looking at 680 and 80 and 24. things are doing very well. so the roads are lighter. when accidents happen, they tend to be more serious because people are going faster. they are clearing an accident there and traffic is back

san francisco 68 that will fall one shy of average. the coolest high temperature this month was 59 on the sixth . the warmest was 72. there were only three high temperatures that came in in the 70s. i think it was on the fourth, tonight, and this last wednesday. every other temperature has been near average to below. a cool and foggy month. if you're headed to lake tahoe it looks good friday, saturday, sunday. i think everything is okay. for us a lot of fog around. 50s on the temperatures. fairfield 57. 50 napa. that's down about 12 appear to 24 hours ago. lakeport 50. redwood city 53. 11 degrees cooler than yesterday at this time for the napa airports but most locations are about 4 - 6, even as about 7 degrees cooler. the system responsible for that is kicking up. a little warmer in lynden today as temperatures bump up. over the weekend probably peaking on sunday with a few in the low 90s. looking at the cooler on monday into tuesday. no records being set like last year. 60s and 70s around the bay. 80s inland. a few 90s over the weeke

san francisco 57 degrees right now. san jose 61. santa rosa 54. this ridge of high pressure right here is now building and building and that's what's actually warming things up for us. so this low is actually helping nudge that ridge a little bit more to the south and now you see it's moved further north so this is going to take over. and that's going to bring a lot of warmth for southern california but also for us, as well. we'll still get an onshore breeze at the coast. but inland communities it will start to shift your wind direction. you will start to see north winds coming in and when we get those, things warm up and it gets dry. so inland concord 87 degrees. that's normal. san jose you will be at 80 today. oakland 72. and san francisco 67. it looks like for the next couple of days, you will see these numbers increase slightly so upper 80s today for fairfield. livermore 85. 86 in santa rosa. 82 in san rafael. seven-day forecast showing low 90s expected for inland areas for saturday, sunday and we are going stay warm and sunny into next week.
