in san francisco. searchers are trying to find a teenager swept into the pacific ocean. kpix 5's anne makovec joins us with the latest on the search and the rescues of the mittsing teen's father and cousin. >> reporter: several hours have passed by this point. the water is cold in the low 50s as far as degrees. so this boy did not have a wet sued. it's not looking good. firefighters still here at ocean beach and the coast guard has been coming to the water with a boat. the full search resumes at first light. this is the scene yesterday after three males ended up in the water at around 3:45. they were pulled out into the ocean by a strong rip current. the father of one of the boys was in the water and flagged down a surfer who towed in one boy first. >> i turned back around. i don't know if the father was breathing but he was definitely cautious and so i asked him if he seen his dad he said no. >> that surfer rescued the father paramedics began to work on the man and one of the boys but the other boy wh
