after a car, being chased by police, smashes into a cafÉ in sausalito. all of it caught on surveillance video. the suspect car, clips another vehicle in the intersection. rams a parked mini-van and then plows onto the sidewalk. mowing down tables and chairs. one customer was pinned. he was later freed by bystanders, and suffered only scrapes. one of the two people inside this car. which was sent crashing into the wall of a hair hospital. as was the suspect's girlfriend, and her two- year old toddler, who were trapped inside the car for a time. the suspect allegedly took off and ended up climbing onto the roof of another nearby restaurant. a man who works nearby says, he followed the suspect to try and talk him into surrendering. the suspect eventually jumped from the roof and was taken into custody. after being released from the hospital, 20 -year old derrick mccann was booked into jail. some of the charges he faces are related to an eariler domestic violence incident. which is why police were chasing him in the first place. now he's also looking at felo
