couple weeks ago i was in israel as part of a group that went out there and guided by the yitzhak rabin sector. we were traveling around a part of our travels took us to a level that is called -- on the border of the gaza strip. it's the last place still open where supplies and food stuff go into the gaza strip from israel. when we were there, there was no actual shooting going on because they wouldn't have taken us there if people would be shooting each other but just 48 hours before it had been under mortar fire. the guy showed us every -- proudly showed us the mortar beds they have been gathering up. it was this weeklong trip, we got to talk to a lot of interesting people, some very high ranking people on the israeli side and on the palestinian side. the mayor of an arab-israeli town and also talked to quite a few soldiers in the israel defense force. one of the things that struck me a lot while we were there, everybody we talked to that kind of the same vision in mind for what they wanted. they wanted a peaceful outcome to all the problems. they wanted to go to live quietly an
