lets begin in david henry live in pennsburg. >> reporter: the montgomery county medical examiner left with a little while ago with the body. we were here when they converged on 4th street and the body was found down the hill not far from stone's home. law enforcement raced to the scene after word of a body had been found, it was on the other side of the stream where 4th street comes to an end, down the street from stone's house. he was found with a sword or large knife protruding from the stomach, these pictures were taken by a resident that lives nexts to the woods. a van from the medical examiner's office arrived to retrieve it. yesterday the police used a battering ram to break down stone's front door and now it lays at the foot of a decorated christmas tree, when police failed to find stone at his house, it was concluded he had likely killed himself. the tactical units and s.w.a.t. teams returned today to continue their search. an unnerving sight for residents. >> my son was upset, he was not even allowed to go to the bus stop, he to be taken into school and that our daughter

"action news" reporter katherine scott joins us live in doylestown bucks county with the latest on the efforts to find him. katherine. >> reporter: matt, well, it's quiet here right now but last night law enforcement swarmed this area after the report of an attempted carjacking. a suspect fit the description of bradley stone but stone got away and this morning the search continues. from the canines on the ground to the infrared cameras on the chopper overhead, it was an all-out search for 35-year-old bradley stone in doylestown bucks county near the stoning ton form apartments. law enforcement flooded the area after it's believed stone attempted to carjack someone near shady retreat and burpee roads. there were reports of shot fired but no one was hit. the victim told police a man strongly resembling stone ran into the woods. earlier in pennsburg, swat teams used a loud speaker to try to talk stone into giving himself up peacefully. in some co
