it's about a 20 minute drive time getting into san francisco. now once you're past the metering lights traffic does pick up across the bridge. but take a look at the life pictures of the golden gate commute. fog is an issue this morning, no traffic delays as a result. and so far, everybody seems to be handling the fog okay. no new news there. southbound traffic looking great leaving southern marin heading into san francisco. the silicon valley commute has been a smooth one. we haven't had any major problems there just the usual slow traffic for north 101 between 280 and trimble. and a nice start to the morning commute if you are heading for the altamont pass. there are some delays but no accidents west 580 slow from the 205 interchange.

san francisco and san jose also in the 50s. so that low pressure area has arrived. it is here. but what it did for the majority of us that kind of mixes up the atmosphere so the bottom part of the atmosphere where we live wasn't socked in with cloud cover so it actually decreased the clouds today as low pressure sitting overhead. it will migrate down to the south for the next few days sitting over southern california. lots of thunderstorms for the sierra. yosemite, tahoe, stormy. for us, it looks like the moisture will stay off to our east. you will see those beautiful clouds off in the distance but none for us. the transition next week will be a big deal. it's going to get very warm. it's going to be in the 70s even near the bay it will hit the 80s perhaps 90 by monday and tuesday of next week as high pressure builds in but builds in to the north giving us an offshore wind. that offshore wind is typically what gets us toasty in june and will do just that. look at the sierra. some rainfall totals there one to two inches. a much-needed rain. this will eventually make it into our
