jill marshall did a great job introducing me. she went above and beyond the truth, but like mae west said one time, too much of a good thing is simply wonderful. some of you have heard me tell this in doing introductions. i was doing town meetings shortly after being elected. we were doing 27 counties in 20 days. it was a real whirlwind. we would ask a local person to introduce me and one of the ladies that was so designated called the office to find out what to say. i learned all this later. they told her to be brief. it was a really fast-paced tour. we need to keep it short. besides that, this county is next to his county so people already know. she said she was very pleased to present to you hal rogers. you all know him, so the less said, the better.
