and the results from last night, jean cummins and ryan grimm, thank you both for being with me. talk about what happens in kentucky with matt bevin. first time in over 40 years a republican takes the governorship there. is this significant? >> it is significant. you had several generations of new deal democrats who culturally became republicans over the last 30 to 40 years but have not switched their voter registration and often would go to the polls and actually elect democrats even if they were conservative democrats and they themselves were more conservative. but matt bevin is not by any stretch a moderate republican. he ran far to mitch mcconnell's right. said mitch mcconnell was far too liberal for kentucky to be in the senate. he said he was planning to repeal obamacare which kentucky has seen the greatest amount of success with its medicaid expansion, with connect which is its local version of the obamacare exchange. 500,000 people have gotten health care through that because the state was so diligent in executing it. despite those threats, he went on to win. >> let me read yo
