the southeastern counties 3- 6 inches roughly andthewestunionfartherto the south and east and that' s where they got the brunt of it. and did receive most areas 1- 3" as far as snowfall with those that fell on the less to 1 inch range out there. it made it hard to forecast for the bullseye of the event that is more so towards washington d.c. and have the snowfalls track for you and starting to wind down out of the area. west union with a couple of light snow flakes for you and that' s the last bit of it starting to move out of the area and dry air is starting to build in back from the west. build into the system yesterday. and i believe that' s why we really had to cut down on the snow totals. we were working with that and dry air and all the moisture you see impacting the east coast and with that we had the high pressure off to the west of us and quite a challenge in the tri- state being on the northern edge of it. depending on where you are, that means you may not really see any snow compared to the places in the south and east where we did receive quite a bit more. notice h
