lana zak abc news, des moines, iowa two virginia tech students face charges in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old girl. nicole lovell went missing from her home in blacksburg, virginia, last week. her family believes she climbed out of her bedroom window. days later, searchers found her across the state line in north carolina. police have arrested and charged 18-year-old david eisenhauer with her abduction and murder. another student, 19 year old natalie keepers is charged with helping dispose of her body. " based on evidence collected to date, we have determined that eisenhauer and nicole were acquainted prior to her disappearance. eisenhauer used this relationship to his advantage to abduct and then kill her. moines until tuesday night. most of monday will remain dry for those caucusing around the state. light snow will begin falling late monday as the bigger system approaches but shouldn't be much of a problem for those driving home during the evening. the bigger problems will move in for the morning commute on tuesday. the majority of snow will fall during the morning on tuesday, tapering off by the late evening. exact snow totals will depend on where the rain/snow line sets up. if it slides north of the dsm metro, snow totals will be cut down significantly. that being said, right now snow totals are still expected to be in the with 6-10" farther toward the northwest, 2-4" in the southeast. no matter what, travel conditions will be poor across the state. jennifer ad lib wx main at the matt back to
