from northern new england to southern new england back to upstate new york through pennsylvania, i do expect quite a bit of sunshine throughout the day. in fact, we need the layer up that sunscreen heading out to the beach on the golf course this afternoon. quiet weather extending back into the next couple days. by the time we get into wednesday, we do start the watch the return of moisture slide off to the east. what will happen as the warm front approaches from the west and the cold front after that warm front and the combination of the two, a chance for a couple isolated storms on wednesday afternoon into wednesday night. i think we get this front off to the east of us on thursday. behind this front, there is plenty of warm air and muggy air. that's going to be the other so we enjoy a comfortable couple days here with low humidity and then all of a sudden those dew points ramp up by mid-to-late week. we'll stay there even as we enter the weekend. 83 to 88 this afternoon, a beautiful day with that low humidity, light sea breezes along the coastline. cape ann, cape cod, temperatures

they tend to favor western new england over eastern new england, but i still wouldn't rule it out. it's a low chance, but i don't want to say a zero chance. there i don't expect it to be completely widespread. i think more of a widespread issue would be the locally heavy rain and the and stronger thunderstorms that roll on through. so we'll track these scattered storms. a few may be late morning, early afternoon. muggy day. once you increase that humidity on the other side of the warm front, temperatures running into the mid-80s. evening storms tonight fading out overnight. mild and muggy night. temperatures back into the 70s. then we'll start to lower that humidity tomorrow. breezy day back into the mid to upper 80s. overall not bad. heat that we had the last several days. cooler at the coast over the weekend. upper 70s coast, mid-80s inland. ism wild weather doing damage in indiana. tornadoes touching down in several parts of the state. you can see a number of homes were damaged and several power lines were knocked down. people were without power for most of the night. thankfully
