(pam) to the east bay... where berkeley police arrested six people in an undercover sting ... to catch laptop thieves. investigators say, the suspects snagged the laptops from people inside 'caffe strada' on college avenue, saturday night. this is the same location targeted earlier this month. but this time, the suspects were unaware undercover agents were watching. these are the two laptops police recovered during the operation. police say, six people had pulled up in a car... then a few got out, grabbed laptops... and fled in the same car. that's when officers pulled over that car... and made the arrests. ( darya ) there are new leads about "the orginal night stalker" ... a man who terrorized sacramento neighborhoods decades ago. police say the man killed a dozen people and raped victims during the mid 1970's. now investigators are linking the man to another crime spree in a rancho cordova neighborhood ... where there were some 30 cat burglaries in the early 1970's. that crime spree led to a sketch which bears similarities to sketches of the "night stalker." police believe the killer is still alive ... and hope the new leads will lead to an arrest. this happened in daly city. the park sits atop a cliff near thornton state beach. the man's dog ran off and got stuck on a cliff side. the 67-year-old victim fell several hundred feet trying to save his pet. rescuers eventually got to the man, but he had already died. his dog was brought to safety. >> sky 7 also flew above san francisco when a man needed to be rescued from the cliffs near lands end. the first call for help came in just after 5:00. it took less than an hour for firefighters to hoist the man up a trail above the cliff. the man was not hurt. the city of alameda could allow legal cannabis businesses in the city, like steep hill labs have not been able to set up shops though pot was legalized last month. the city has no regulations for cannabis business permits. some proposed rules tonight and they'll listen to arguments for and against pot businesses in the city. >> the lack of rules in the pot industry isn't just affecting alameda. a new report from the california growers association found less than 1% of the state's known cannabis growers licensed. c
