doug? >> yeah, guys. simply amazing how much rain we saw tod d. if i'mng the numbers correctly, today is the eighth wettest march day ever in d.c. thees airport, it is simply wettest day ever in the month of march. that's how much rain we saw all of dulles, over 2 1/2 inches of rain today. just incredible amounts of rainfall. i've seen some reports of over 3.3 inches of rain just to the north and west of leesburg. you can see why. leesburg, this area right along the mountains wti just g pummeled by rain all day long. ou can actually see what's happening. look at this area of low pressure spinning around ouron rend shifting on through. some of this rain still coming y down at a preood clip back into portions of clark and in uier county, sti through loudoun county. we're not done out towardsdu es airport yet. how much rain? as i said, over 2 1/2 inches. 1.95 in d.c. 2.95 in dull list airport over 2 inches towards charlottesville. not just that, 8 o inches snow or more into parts of thes mountad along the shenandoah valley and the skyline drive area.
