mike, what's the trade >> yeah. so coke is an interesting situation amongs staple stocks from a fundamental standpoint one of the reasons we have seen it lag its sector has to do with secular trends, their business of selling soft drinks that hasn't exactly been the most favorite place to be. obviously they have been facing a lot of competition however, i do sort of suspect that that weakness may actually have leveled off here. and the other thing i would say about coke is like many of the other staple stocks these things have bond-like volatility, which is to say the volatility is exceptionally low. the price of the options i exceptionally low. and therefore we can keep the trades relatively simple in this case i was just looking out to august. the 49 calls were trading about a buck and a half when i was looking at these earlier today they are slightly in the money already. the other thing i would point out, the most recent highs we saw would have been right around the break even at 50.5 bucks so i'm kind of lookin

mike says the disney dominance will continue. what are you seeing? >> let's just talk about disney as a company, first of all it's a much more stable and kind of a play to make i think than netflix. netflix, obviously, we've for a long time been seeing that it's an expanding space, but this is not a company that's been generating significant free cash flow disney, on the other hand, is a proven player in the space obviously, they seem to be moving their business in the correct direction. they have a couple winners as well -- "avengers: end game" i think is an interesting situation. the stock has been performing well and the valuation is not unreasonable it's trading around 21 times earnings we've seen some good stuff coming out of espn for me, from a fundamental standpoint, almost everything looks good we obviously are going to have some earnings coming up. the only thing that concerns me here is that the stock has, indeed, been as strong as it has. we've had a huge move up, so what do you do if you don't own the stock, you want to, but you're concer

mike flynn is finally sentenced. flynn's lawyer is a professional anti-robert mueller pundit and author who can be found at any time of day or night on the fox news channel opining about robert mueller and the russia investigation and the justice department being a whole bunch of terrible criminals and corrupt traitors. she has said that the judge in mike flynn's case doesn't know what he's doing and that flynn should withdraw his guilty plea and stop cooperating with the government. so when flynn recently dumped his previous legal team and hired her instead, just as he's heading toward finally being sentenced, it gave rise to the expectation that, perhaps, mike flynn might be about to back out of his cooperation deal. he might back out of his guilty plea. he might, instead, try to get a pardon from president trump. frankly, if you're asking me, i would -- i would be surprised if that still isn't where this is going, but today in court, on this weird news day, today in court, we learned that mike flynn isn't going th

mike has been tracking it all for us. >> hey, folks. that live picture we'll sort it out here on the map. folks who are coming down here making that loop around, you cannot take this section of 101 just past the interchange we just showed you with sky ranger. all the police, fire, emergency vehicles are on highway 101. and as i understand it, and as we caught glimpses we've been able to see that all lanes are blocked by the police activity there. folks on 880 are not able to make that loop. they have to travel south and come back north. trying to get back on again to the south. i think they're allowing traffic to come over the area. just to be safe, let me show with you when waze advising. a whole cluster of folks from the waze community have been reporting over the last few minutes. nbc bay area wazers is our group. coming out of santa clara heading down toward the area they're advising you take 87 then toward 101. that keeps you well clear of this area. that's oakland road. that's 13th. done try to take 101 south past that scene. you

they're recommending no jail time for mike flynn. just keep your mouth shut and don't do anything to distract the judge from that fact. instead, mike flynn and his lawyers decided to give the judge a memorandum ahead of his sentencing that described how flynn basically felt like he was being railroaded by the fbi because the agents who interviewed him never warned flynn it's a crime to lie to the fbi because of course who wouldn't know it's a crime to lie to the fbi? i mean, the implication of their sentencing memo to the judge was that the real villains here were these dastardly investigators who were looking at flynn in the first place. they set him up. they didn't have to do that, but they did, and the judge in flynn's case was having none of it. the judge said out loud in open court that arguably -- he said arguably, quote, mike flynn, you sold out your country. the judge asked prosecutors if flynn could have been charged with treason. it was at that point that flynn decided if he really wanted to get the no jail time he was hopi
