>>thank you for joining us on the kron 00:04am morning news i'm robin winston we appreciate you waking up with us as usual. one of our big stories of this morning as the weather that is combined with warm temperatures. >>pg e shut off high winds. so of course you want to check in with john trouble you've been tracking this he warned us about this several days ago. so what's the latest on these warnings and watches yeah, you know robin this time of year is the time of year fire danger for the bay is the highest we've had a dry summer so there's. >>lots old right hander to work with the winds are actually usually the highest this time year to this is when you get those hot dry inland winds. and these are consistently what were seen when they did pick up last night just as expected. now we're going to see them today and again into tomorrow. why so many of us are. experiencing power shut off across portions of the bay and why pg e crews and are taking this so seriously because the widespread nature of these winds and just how strong they are is something that can be very problematic

meteorologist john trouble now and get the latest on those advisories and warnings strong yet robin that's exactly right it was something that cruise wanted to see wind speeds gradually decreasing through the course of this place because overnight last night wind speeds increase pretty rapidly now. >>just because wind speeds right in the vicinity of the brave blaze have temporarily gunned down, doesn't mean that it's not still brief breezy for a lot of surrounding areas looking at our current wind speeds map across the region also mom blackhawk brett would rio vista antioch even as close as walnut creek and martinez all these areas are looking at wind speeds sustained right now at around 25 to 32 miles per hour. so this is still some fairly breezy conditions now around the blaze itself. you are burning right around 500 feet just below it in oakland, rather calm conditions at the moment, let's reversed things a little bit and take a look at where we've been the past 3 hours and loop through this and what you see times where wind speeds are greater and then times where they do subside a bit.
