the fire is out in the concord area. we were watching the on-ramp which the chp and the fire department shut down. we just heard from contra costa fire department. the concord avenue on-ramp is now open. they did put out the very small brush fire which started around 3:30 this morning. so everything is as it should be in the east bay. 242, highway 4 both open traffic speeds back up especially eastbound highway 4. as we check on the golden gate commute it's nice and cool so enjoy it while it lasts. foggy out there and southbound traffic is fine getting into san francisco. once you're in the city, no delays for 280, 101 or i-80 but the bay bridge commute is beginning to crowd up already. expect delays at the toll plaza from the foot of the maze. the metering lights were switched on just a few moments ago. and we do have an a's game scheduled for midday around 12:35 today. so expect delays closer to game time along the nimitz just outside of the coliseum this morning. 880 is moving well. as we check on the altamont pass com
