katrina, sandy, camille, andrew. matthew is going to go down in history books as the name is retired as a catastrophic hurricane. it was a 4. it's now downgraded to a 3 in the overnight hours because it lost a little bit of its strength and momentum as it brushed up against the land mass, which is typical and expect and needs to be out over the warm waters in order to gather some more strength. right now, it's doing exactly what has been projected which is a little unusual. usually these hurricanes have minds of their own and can waiver a good 20 miles off the coast. right now the wind is extremely problematic as it buffets the space coast of the atlantic side of florida. at this particular time we're expecting this hurricane to continue its north to northwest jog at 13 miles per hour, which is a little rapid for this size of a hurricane to continue up in that northerly direction taking aim towards georgia. also, the carolinas, as well. i think this hurricane besides its fire hose effect of the winds and the rain, it
