. >> reporter: joyce craig is getting full horns -- honors from her philadelphia firefighter family. this is the second viewing, hundreds came out for the first viewing and more are expected for this viewing and the funeral aferldz. >> the funeral procession heading up broad street for the saturday's viewing for the 11 year veteran. her casket draped in an american flag over the truck of firehouse 64 her home base. friday night her family arrived for the first viewing. she leaves hind a 16-year-old son and 16-month-old daughter. she died battling a fire while working overtime. theyshe was the first female toe in the line of duty. she was a highly decorated ffort firefighter who received citations for her his or his orc efforts. firefighters came from miles away. >> he with didn't know her personally, but she is a sister of all of ours. when one falls we come to support. >> reporter: the funeral procession will start at 71st and broad and go to ivy hill cemetary. >> there will detours around broad and 69 anticipate cheltenham avenue. the detours begin at 6:00 a.m. the routes affected

. >> craig: and it looks like it is cute. still ahead here on the nig team, the news was devastating but that did not stop one woman from taking life by the horns. >> belkys: now she is making an social media. >> craig: it is a diagnose certainly no one wants to hear. >> belkys: but one 90-year-old woman said ta she would rather receive the life on the road than receive, chemotherapy, and her story is inspiring so many others on facebook. shireen sandoval has more from the social media center. frmths i love this story, after getting terrible news from a doctor, the unexpected diagnosis changed her life in a way she never would have imagined leading her to choose life on e road. by the doctors she had uteran cancer just two days after her husband of 67 years passed away. instead of key mow or radiation or surgery, norma decided as the famous poet wrote, robert frost on the road not taken, instead of living out of the rest of her life in an assted living home she opted for a mobile home and told the doctors she was hitting the

as news 4's katherine craig reports, other people just narrowly escaped. >> reporter: what a tragedy to happen here in the bronx. we are also hearing it was quite dramatic as several residents were on these fire escapes, [ horns ] firefighters returned to the scene of the tragedy hours after the fire first broke out to check on apartments damaged by smoke. the family's apartment smell sod badly from smoke they wait it had out in their car. but you don't want to go in? >> no, the smell of smoke and everything, i try to avoid it. >> reporter: they live next door to a 36-year-old resident here who tragically lost his life in the fast-moving fire. he lived in apartment 3 e at the building on east 230th street near white plains road. when fire broke out before 3 a.m., reside s rushed to the fire escapes. about ten people became trapped on this second-floor fire escape for at least ten minutes, they told us, when the ladder wouldn't budge. >> it was pretty scary last night. we were unable to latch -- there was some type of wire that was sealing the ladder from dropping, so it was a whole g

. >> and craig, good day to you from the supreme court. can you hear horns honking in the background. in is not somebody getting married. this is some kind of demonstration by the city's cab drivers. just going on in the street between me and the u.s. capitol. but back to the business at hand. the supreme court ruled that aereo, the internet streaming service that allowed people to watch broadcast tv on a mobile device like an ipad or cell phone violates federal law by retransmitting copy righted programs without paying a copy right fee. aereo claimed the way it was set up where each viewer gets the antenna and space in a rack of digital video recorders was like recording programs at home using your own dvr. but the supreme court rejected that by a 6-3 vote. it's probably a death nail to aereo which said before the decision that if the supreme court went against it it, would probably not stay in business. aereo is something like 12 cities right now. waiting for the decision had stopped the spread to other cities. now it seems likely aereo
