when fidel castro opened his walls, we were getting ready to ship them back to cuba, fiddle -- they thought they would die if they went back to cuba, we had them in a federal prison, they took over the prison, sieged 11 hostages, i was confronted with head of prison. and the prison unite like a port fortress you could not see in. i realized we could never give in to their demands, which were to stay in the united states. we couldn't give in, we vul would have to do a hostage rescue, i activated the hrt, hostage rescue team of the fbi fact, they started immediately training and planning for an operation, i worked closely with the top guys in the fbi. on this after 9 days we had not fed them, it is a interesting movie, kind of thing you could make a good movie, but once john candy died there was no one left to play me. i hear on twitter to john goodman would be a good one. all dramatic, there were last minute curveballs to whether we would in there and find the hostages in time. because they had knives and started playing russian roulette putting their names in a bag, stuff like that,
