i mean what needs to be done to fix the agency jim? >> well if i was going to make a recommendation to him, reverend al i would say that joe clancy needs to get a deputy director from outside the agency. he's been picked by the president as the top man, he can go out and get a deputy from another agency and put him in there and toughen this whole thing up. he's got to take swift action. if you look at the latest thing that happened that you referenced, going through the barricade, two commanders drinking, everything wrong in that seems to be done by a supervisor. the only person who did something right was the line field division officer who wanted to give a sobriety act. when you have supervisors cutting them loose, supervisors not taking the right action you got some real problem. the director's got to get tough. one way he can help that is bring in an outside deputy clamp down on this and make sure when somebody sees misconduct action is taken, it's reported. when you see gonzalez in virginia there's a chance to stop him, stop him.
