good luck president katie tang. now i know that supervisor is a stevie wonder fan, kim. there is a button for you. >> thank you very much, next speaker, please. >> public speaker: good evening, my name is juana, i want to thank supervisor avalos for working for leadership for all. the epidemic of police violence is an issue that is sparking racism across our country and city. as a city we have an opportunity and obligation to talk about how this impacts sf residents. while we extend our condolences to mike brown and eric garner, we take the national issue. let's be clear, this is not an antipolice resolution. this is an antipolice brutality resolution. we can't be about ferguson if we are not about san francisco. it's back wards and hypocritical to take a stand on support on a national issue on cases that are far from here on cases yet to be resolved. if we deny the opportunity by the race of those killed, then we deny the realities of our communities which continues to increase mistrust. there are many parallels with sf and ferguson. ferguson fought for weeks to indict
