let's go right now to mallory hoff live at kennedy airport. mallory. >>reporter: lori, good morning. nypd and port authority both monitoring developments as they come n. i do want to show you here just in the last few minutes we are starting to see a little bit of an increased presence here. for the last few hours, though, it has been pretty much business as usual. port authority police say they will be stepping up security at jfk, laguardia and newark. they'll have heavy weapons and also high-visibility anti- terrorist patrols at the world trade center. there are a handful of direct leave from jfk. those flights have all been canceled. all other flights, though, are on time for now. right now we know that the nypd is monitoring the situation and any further developments. we are told to expect an increased law enforcement presence at major new york city locations, subways, major transit spots. this is, of course, out of an abundance of caution. now, the nypd has released a statement saying at this time there is no known indication that the attack has a
