phyllis and about this. this dispute has been going on for some time. >> yes, there is a protest plan for 10:30 this morning. this is one in a long line of protest over this parking policy. it is not in effect since february. workers and allies have been pushing back against management plan since this plan was first announced. this is a practice back on february 20th. workers point out that minimum wage forcing them to pay to park really takes a chunk out of their paycheck. westfield valleyfair now charges employees three dollars a day or $40 a month to park. that monthly fee amounts to two and half hours of work. guests get to park for free for two hours. management's hope is to deter non-parkers, non-shoppers from taking up that valuable parking space. we talked with one ofhe protest organizers. understand why they must take out the money of the employees just so they can make that little extra profit. it is definitely issues of classism, the elite trying to continually oppress those who are of lower incom
