in northeast washington, suzanne kennedy, abc 7. adrianna: one man is dead after a mobile home in charles county burst into flames. ryan hughes has more on the investigatn drawing a major response from firefighters and the charles county sharps department. that fire happening down this longer road, about 150 to 175 yards off the street. we are told this is a large farm with several different animals and homes in the front of the property, and mobile homes in the back of the property. that is where the fire started. gottrack 7 over the scene the call around 5:30 this morning. this is in the 1700 block of marshall hall road. the crews arrived. the mobile home was fully involved and completely engulfed by flames. firefighters made an aggressive attack, and they were soon able to get in through the front door. that is when they pulled a man out of the home. unfortunately, he did not survive and was pronounced dead on scene. we are told a dog was also killed in this fire. fire, ase home caught no other injuries are reported out here. rig

suzanne kennedy is here with more on the investigation into how it got started. suzanne: investigators in arlington county have spent much of the morning trying to figure out what started this overnight house fire here in the 500 block of north ivy street. the fire started overnight about 1:00 in the morning when authorities arrived, they found heavy fire on the front side of the building. two of the three people in the house at the time of the fire were on the street and notified there was a third person inside in a second-floor bedroom. up toghters put a ladder the second floor and found that person unresponsive. they brought him down on the ladder and administered emergency medical care. he was transferred to washington hospital center in critical condition. authorities right now said they don't know exactly where this fire started or what the cause was. firefighters say when they arrived, smoke detectors were going off. that is good news, that alerted at least two of the three people to get out of the home safely. in arlington, suzanne kennedy. to the weather
