it started around 9-30 last night at the valero gas station on meridan avenue. police say employees self evacuated after a man began to threaten them and cause a disturbance. when officers arrived... the man refused to leave and barricaded himself inside. it wasn't until about three this morning when the man finally surrendered. police took him into custody. no one was hurt.
