US Senate Archive

See or download fact-checks by FactCheck.org, PolitiFact, and The Washington Post's Fact Checker.

The U.S. Senate Archive is one of several collections of TV news clips featuring public officials, with related fact-checks. The Trump Archive, launched in January 2017, was the first such collection. While largely curated by hand, these collections demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence algorithms could be used to create such resources, for example with voice and/or facial recognition.  A work in progress, these evolving non-commercial, searchable collections are designed to preserve the historical record for posterity. For more information, read this.

The Internet Archive's Terms of Use require that users make use of the Internet Archive's collections at their own risk and ensure that such use is non-infringing and in accordance with all applicable laws. The Internet Archive does not advise as to the use or repurposing status of items in our collections.  It is the userís responsibility to determine whether permission may be required for a given use of these materials, or whether such use is authorized by law.   The Trump Archive has been made available for use in journalism, research, teaching, private study and other public interest purposes.
